As an aspiring Writer and Speaker in the Personal Development arena, Tommy has taken his passion for writing in a direction few anticipated. With many goals in sight, Tommy focuses on the immediate concerns of everyday life with a common sense approach. Little more than a student of life, Tommy’s observations are captured in his Blog, where he claims to be “An expert of non-expertise”.
Though his credentials are few, Tommy sets his sights on the future where individuals will seek out thought provoking, direct and sometimes confrontational approaches to life’s challenges. Never one to mix words, the common denominator is never in question when you listen to him; simply put, Your Life is Your Fault. Change comes when you are uncomfortable and that’s why many of Tommy’s topics challenge us and provoke us to take responsibility and stop the blame.
With a background in Management and Customer Relations, Tommy’s communication skills were honed in the trials of facing sometimes irate and demanding Clients. With the acceptance of responsibility in the products and services he would deliver, he soon realized the benefits of straight-talk. “I never over-promised anything. If it could be done, I’d get it done. If it couldn’t, I’d tell them up front. I’d rather they take their project elsewhere where they can get it done rather than take their money and not deliver. There’s no trust to be built in lies.”
Tommy lives in Brooklyn Center, MN with his Wife, Kimberly and their three children, Jayden, Rachel and Zachary. When he is not writing or speaking, you will find him playing Guitar and Drums with his Band. A self-taught musician and Head-Banger at heart, Tommy takes his love for Rock And Roll center stage with a style that is rare in the Self Improvement field. “I coined the phrase ‘No suit, No tie, All business’ because I wanted to be different in my approach to the people I hope to reach. You’ll find a long-haired, T-shirt and Jeans wearing guy lecturing you on Personal Responsibility and Integrity. We’ve all heard it from the Suits, and while I am not knocking them, I think there is a new generation of people coming up that don’t wear the suits and ties and want someone they can relate to. That’s where I hope to come in.”
